Health of the Alaskan Malamute
All puppy buyers and owners of the Alaskan Malamute should acquaint themselves with the potential health issues within the breed and what testing is available and recommended. No breed or species of animal is free of disease or genetic disorders. Despite a breeder's best efforts, issues can arise. Participating in testing and screening assists both breeders and researchers in reducing health issues that exist within the breed.
